Beliefs

  1. That the entire Bible is verbally inspired by God and in the original is infallible, and that its teaching and authority are absolute, supreme, and final. (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  2. In one God eternally and tri-equally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (John 15:26, 14:26, 16:13-15)
  3. That the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit; born of the Virgin Mary, and that He is truly God and Truly Man. (John 1:1-14)
  4. That man was created in the image of God, that he sinned willfully and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but spiritual death also; and that since the fall all men have been born with sinful nature and are totally unable to retrieve their first state of sinlessness. (Romans 3:10, 3:23, 6:23, Jeremiah 17:9)
  5. That upon reaching the age of accountability or moral responsibility each individual becomes personally responsible before God for his soul’s eternal destiny. (Romans 3:21, 14:12)
  6. That the Lord Jesus Christ, according to the determinate foreknowledge of God, died for our sins according to the Scriptures: that His sacrifice was substitutionary and is propitiatory for all the sins of all men, that He arose from the dead according to the Scripture. (John 3:1-18, 6:44-58, Acts 3:12-26, 1 Corinthians 15:12-28)
  7. That each one who will receive the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on the ground of faith alone in His shed blood, is born again and is a partaker of God’s own nature by the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in each born-again one. (Ephesians. 2:8-9, Romans 5:1-9)
  8. That after our Lord’s personal, bodily resurrection, He ascended into heaven and is there at the Father’s right hand as our intercessor and High Priest. (Hebrews 4:14-16, 7:25)
  9. In the personal, premillennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, I Corinthians 15:51, 53)
  10. In the bodily resurrection of the saved and of the lost; on the part of the saved, resurrection to eternal joy in the presence of God and on the part of the lost, resurrection to eternal conscious torment in Hell. (John 5:29, Revelations 20: 4,5, 5:11-15)
  11. The following in baptism as a step of obedience after regeneration and an outward symbol of what has been accomplished in the heart by the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28: 19-20, Romans 6:3-5)
  12. In the Word of God, apart from all human interpretation as the only authority on individual lives and the conduct of and in the assembly of the redeemed. (2Timothy 2:15, 3:16-17)
  13. That Christ instituted the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to be observed until He comes. (Matthew 28:20, John 3:22, Mark 14:22-25, 1 Corinthians 11:23-30)
  14. That it is the responsibility of all who are saved to seek to win others to Christ. (Matthew 12:30, Acts 1:8)
  15. That the Church is the Body of Christ formed by the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and that all believers are members thereof and are holy and royal Priesthood. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Ephesians 4:4-16, 5:25-32)
  16. That Satan is a personal being, and that he is man’s greatest enemy and tempter, and also the enemy of God, the accuser of the saints and the author of all false religions, the prince of the powers of spiritual darkness, and the god of this world. (Hebrews 2:14, 1 John 3:8, 10)
